Hi! I’m Teresa

I’m the owner and coach behind Grit & Grace.

I started working as a PT in 2018, after building up my own fitness and falling in love with everything the human body is capable of. In 2025 I opened my own private studio in Bristol, and became Chair of the Coach Development committee with British Obstacle Sports, supporting the development of coaches across the UK.

I used to be very unfit, never did any exercise and spent most of my time playing video games (I still do this in my spare time, though). I had my “quarter life crisis” at age 25 - and realised I wanted to be more like the characters I play in games - ready to take on anything.

Now, I am a powerlifting, hand-standing, ninja nerd!

My own training focuses on the big three powerlifting movements (Squat, Bench, Deadlift) with calisthenics (bodyweight) training on the side to make sure I’m fully functional.

I have competed in Powerlifting and have competed internationally in ninja sport. I love adventure (climbed to Everest base camp, surfing/skiing, and martial arts!)

I always aim to have fun - with my own workouts and those I deliver to you!

Hi! I’m Lily

I’m the assistant coach at Grit & Grace.

I am a Miniature Schnauzer, born in 2017 so I’m not a puppy anymore.

I love my toys, long walks, and I’m always happy to have a cuddle.

You might find me in the studio for your session - I have my bed that I stay in mostly, but I’m always happy to say hi!
